Description
The Alpha Optics AO-1324 Gen3 is a very compact and lightweight hand-held night vision monocular device that utilizes a single Generation 3 intensifier tube to provide crisp, clear images under the darkest conditions featuring rugged, ergonomic design and durable body made of glass-filled polyamide. A built-in IR illuminator makes it possible to use the unit in low light or total darkness. LED lights indicate low battery and show the user that the IR illuminator is on. The AO-1324 has unique features including automatic brightness control to achieve the highest image quality in varying light conditions, a low battery and IR-ON indicators, and a built-in “flip‐up” OFF switch which turns the device off when it is tilted into a vertical position. Small, lightweight and versatile, the AO-1324 gives you a high-performance green or white phosphor image. To enhance viewing capabilities, the system can be paired with a 3x, 4x or 6.6x magnifier lenses (sold separately). The AO-1324 runs from a single AA battery and can be handheld, head/helmet-mounted for hands-free use, or attached to a camera or camcorder for nighttime photography.
