RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

Thank you for considering Alpha Optics Systems Inc. products! Please, carefully inspect your merchandise immediately upon receipt. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return it within 15 days for refund, exchange or upgrade. The 15-day grace period begins from the time you receive the purchase and ends when you give the package to the carrier.

Please note these important facts:

  • A return will not be completed unless an RMA number is attached. Packages without an RMA will be rejected and sent back.
  • We can only replace, upgrade or issue a credit for the units that were returned in the NEW condition and original packaging. We reserve the right to send damaged, misused, abused and obviously used merchandise back.
  • All upgrades should be completed within 15 days after you receive our product.
  • Customer is responsible for shipping and insurance costs associated with returning the merchandise for refund, upgrade or exchange.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Any payment processing fees are non-refundable and will be deducted from your refund.
  • Special orders, large orders, custom made professional equipment, clearance sales, and products sold ‘as is’ cannot be returned. Please, check when placing your order, if your item qualifies for unconditional returns.
  • We do not charge restocking fees for most items sent back within 15 days of receipt of merchandise. Restocking fees do not apply for items that are returned new, unused and with all original packaging and accessories, items for exchange and upgrade provided all return conditions are met and return instructions are followed.
  • We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of 10% or greater on items returned in not original packaging, and for those returns past 15 days.
  • You should expect to receive your refund within 15 business days of the receipt of your package with returned merchandise. Each refund will be treated on a case by case basis depending on circumstances.

To return an item, please follow these steps:

  • Please carefully inspect your merchandise immediately upon receipt.
  • Send us an email indicating your invoice number, merchandise description, merchandise serial number and reason for return to [email protected].
  • You will receive an email/call with a Return Merchandise Authorization number (RMA) number and address to which the item must be returned. The RMA number will be active for 15 days. Please note that it may take several days for the RMA number to get generated.

  • Pack the item(s) securely using the original packing material (original packaging is mandatory only for returning item). You must include a copy of your original invoice with your shipment.

  • Write the RMA number on the outside of the packaging box.

  • Please note that we do not accept freight collect or COD shipments.

  • To ensure proper delivery, we highly recommend that you choose a carrier that offers delivery notification (e.g., UPS, Canada Post, DHL or FedEx).

  • Do not return the item to us unless specifically told to do so as you may end up being responsible for double shipping costs.
